Jonathan and his wife Nicola have a real passion and love for skiing and active sports. They opened their shop, White Stone, in November 2006 to fulfill a lifetime ambition to promote and sell a wide selection of luxury ski, fitness and tennis sportswear both in store and online.

Their aim is to provide customers with a professional and friendly service, whilst selling and promoting the finest quality ski and sporting goods and the widest choice of luxury brands for snow and active sports throughout Yorkshire and across the UK.

Jonathan McGuinness is an ex British Ski Team Assistant Coach with 30 years of skiing experience, including 4 years with the British Ski Team. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the ski and sport industry ensures that customers who visit the shop will not only receive a high quality service, but also receive the best technical advice possible.

Nicola McGuinness is White Stone’s ski wear, fitness and tennis clothing buyer and she has the unique ability to put some fabulous ski and sports wear collections together thanks to many years of fashion experience gained working for Escada.

White Stone is proud to offer a full ski boot fitting service in there Yorkshire store to all of its customers, a provision which is rare within the Leeds, Harrogate and York area. Stephen Connor, White Stone’s Master Ski Boot Fitter and Ski Technician, has worked in the ski industry for 15 years, starting out as a ski racer and ski instructor and then working as a ski boot fitter and workshop trainer for the past 12 years to a national ski store.

Both Stephen and Jonathan fit  ski boots within the store, and together they are able to provide one of the most experienced ski boot fitting services in the UK. Customers can benefit from a wealth of experience and expertise so that they feel confident they have purchased the best possible ski boots to suit their bespoke requirements and skiing ability.

Jonathan and Nicola’s passion and commitment to the ski and active sports industry is evident in all areas of their business, and together they continue to work hard to offer suppliers the best platform in the market in which to promote and sell their brands.
