It was in 1982 that the art director at Belfe received an anonymous Post Card from St. Moritz that inspired him to design their first collection. The image on the Post Card showed an elegantly dressed woman from 1926 in a snowy landscape scene and this is where he drew his inspiration. This image is still influencing the design in Post Card ski wear today.
