2 x Weekend Product Advisors

7 month contract: September 2017 - March 2018

Saturdays & Sundays

We are seeking 2 x customer focused Weekend Product Advisors to join our team for the 2017/18 ski season. This position would be ideally suited to someone with an interest in skiing and winter sports. The role will run from September through to March, with additional hours around the Christmas holidays.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers and answering customer questions
  • Assisting customers to find the products they are looking for
  • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers (product training will be provided)
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided at all times
  • Being responsible for processing cash and card payments
  • Ensuring shop displays are kept well stocked with products
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean at all times
  • Sharing responsibility with the sales team for security within the store

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • A confident person who enjoys working with members of the public
  • Knowledge of skiing and/or winter sports is essential
  • Computer literacy and good numerical skills are essential, as this role will involve working with the store’s till system
  • Experience of working within a retail environment would be an advantage
  • Flexibility to work additional hours and to work on a weekend rota system
