eCommerce & Retail Advisor

This is a 7 month contract running from September to March.

We are seeking a customer focused and outgoing eCommerce & Retail Advisor to join our team. This position would be ideally suited to someone with an interest in skiing and winter sports.

The role will be divided between the administrative and retail areas of the business, with a diverse range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Dispatching web orders from our busy eCommerce site
• Overseeing web orders and returns processes
• Interacting with online and in-store customers and answering customer questions
• Supporting the retail team with customer service and product advice

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• A meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer literacy and good numerical skills are essential, as this role will involve working with the store’s eCommerce platform and till.
• A team player who is happy to work on a wide range of duties
• Knowledge of skiing and/or winter sports would be desirable
• A confident person who enjoys working with members of the public
• Experience of working within a customer service or retail environment would be an advantage

2 x Weekend Product Advisors

7 month contract: September 2018 - March 2019

Saturdays & Sundays

We are seeking 2 x customer focused Weekend Product Advisors to join our team for the 2018/19 ski season. This position would be ideally suited to someone with an interest in skiing and winter sports. The role will run from September through to March, with additional hours around the Christmas holidays.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers and answering customer questions
  • Assisting customers to find the products they are looking for
  • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers (product training will be provided)
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided at all times
  • Being responsible for processing cash and card payments
  • Ensuring shop displays are kept well stocked with products
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean at all times
  • Sharing responsibility with the sales team for security within the store

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • A confident person who enjoys working with members of the public
  • Knowledge of skiing and/or winter sports is essential
  • Computer literacy and good numerical skills are essential, as this role will involve working with the store’s till system
  • Experience of working within a retail environment would be an advantage
  • Flexibility to work additional hours and to work on a weekend rota system
