Peak Performance Ski Wear — Scandinavian Performance Since 1986

Founded in the Swedish mountain resort of Åre in 1986, Peak Performance was created by passionate skiers who wanted ski clothing that combined technical performance with clean, understated Scandinavian design. Nearly four decades later, the brand remains closely connected to skiing and mountain life.

Born in Åre, Sweden

Peak Performance began when three friends — Stefan Engström, Peter Blom and Christer Mårtensson — came together in Åre with a shared ambition to create ski wear they genuinely wanted to use themselves. They were soon joined by former alpine skier and ski salesman Jonas Ottosson.

Their different backgrounds in competitive skiing, design and the ski industry helped establish a brand with performance at its core. From its beginnings in one of Scandinavia’s best-known ski resorts, Peak Performance developed into an internationally recognised name in technical ski and outdoor clothing.
