Amundsen Sports was founded in Norway by Jorgen Amundsen, a direct descendant of the legendary Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen - the first person to reach the South Pole in 1911. At the same time as exploring he was discovering cold weather survival, using the cutting edge technology and materials of his time. This heritage was a catalyst for Jorgen Amundsen and co-founder Erik Friis to develop a range of ski wear that is inspired by the past and built for the future.
Tried and tested in Antarctica, every Amundsen ski jacket is made of the highest quality materials, designed to ensure maximum protection from the elements whilst offering the wearer comfort and breathability.
