Fusalp Ski Wear — French Luxury Ski Wear Since 1952

Founded on the shores of Lake Annecy in 1952, Fusalp is one of France’s most distinctive luxury ski wear brands. Created by two tailors, Georges Ribola and René Veyrat, the company has always combined precise French tailoring with technical clothing designed for the mountains.

Fusalp is renowned for its beautifully cut ski jackets, fitted ski pants and refined après-ski collections for men and women. Clean silhouettes, premium fabrics and carefully considered technical details give the brand an understated elegance that works equally well on the slopes, around the resort and beyond.

    The Fusalp Collection

Our carefully selected Fusalp collection brings together luxury ski clothing and sophisticated alpine style for men and women. Each piece is chosen for its fit, quality, comfort and ability to move effortlessly between mountain and resort.

    • Luxury ski jackets — streamlined designs combining warmth, weather protection and elegant French styling.
    • Tailored ski pants — flattering, close-fitting silhouettes created with stretch fabrics for comfort and freedom of movement.
    • Mid-layers and knitwear — refined, versatile pieces designed for layering throughout the ski season.
    • Après-ski clothing — sophisticated jackets, knitwear and lifestyle pieces that transition naturally from the mountain to the resort.

    French Tailoring Meets Alpine Performance

Fusalp’s identity is rooted in the skills of its two founding tailors. Their understanding of cut, movement and fit helped shape a new generation of close-fitting alpine clothing, beginning with the fuseau ski pant that became central to the brand’s name and heritage.

Today, Fusalp continues to combine lightweight technical materials with precise tailoring. The result is ski wear that protects against cold and changing weather while maintaining the clean lines and freedom of movement for which the brand is known.

A Heritage of Ski Racing Innovation

Fusalp has worked closely with competitive skiers throughout its history. Its founders collaborated with leading French skiers to develop the alpine fuseau, followed by an innovative competition ski suit in the 1960s. This connection between tailoring and high-level skiing continues to influence the fit, movement and technical construction of Fusalp’s modern collections.

The Story Behind the Fusalp Logo

Customers occasionally ask whether the Fusalp logo is connected to Moncler. The resemblance reflects the shared heritage of two iconic French alpine brands rather than one company copying the other. Both Fusalp and Moncler were founded in France in 1952 and both adopted the Gallic rooster (Le Coq Gaulois), one of France’s best-known national symbols, reflecting their roots in French mountain culture and alpine sport.

During the 1960s, Fusalp dressed members of the French Alpine Ski Team in competition clothing featuring the Gallic rooster as a symbol of French sporting pride. The emblem therefore represents an important part of Fusalp’s own history and its close association with French ski racing during one of the most influential periods in the development of modern alpine ski wear.

Today, the Gallic rooster remains an important part of Fusalp’s identity, representing more than 70 years of French craftsmanship, innovation and alpine heritage.

Official Supplier to British Alpine Skiing

Since 2021, Fusalp has been the official clothing supplier to GB Snowsport’s British Alpine and Para-Alpine ski teams. The partnership reflects the brand’s continuing commitment to performance, combining innovative technical materials with the precise cuts and refined styling associated with the Fusalp name.
