MONS ROYALE

Born in the mountains of New Zealand, Mons Royale create high-performance merino wool ski base layer tops and pants that offer fantastic warmth on and off the slopes. The brand was started in 2009 by Hannah and Hamish Acland who grew up with farming roots and recognized the benefits of merino wool as one of the highest performing natural fibres. In fact, merino wool is perfect for adventure sports as it has fantastic wicking properties and can absorb up to 30% of its own weight before feeling wet. The key to remaining warm in cold temperatures is remaining dry with a good layering system that begins with a moisture wicking base layer.  

Mons Royale put sustainability at the forefront of everything they do by sourcing natural fibres from an ethical supply chain. Our range includes mens and womens ski base layers with subtle or bold designs (depending on your preference) which are all tried and tested to withstand extreme temperatures. Mons Royale is also worn by some of the world’s best action sports athletes, including the New Zealand Winter Olympic Team.
