Many styles use soft cotton-rich fabrics — for example, 75% organic cotton blended with 25% recycled polyester — giving them the comfortable feel of a more traditional ski thermal.

They are particularly well suited to relaxed resort skiing in known conditions, providing comfortable warmth beneath a ski jacket while looking fabulous when the jacket comes off for lunch or après-ski. The flattering fit, soft feel and distinctive Alp N Rock detailing are a large part of their appeal.

For more energetic skiing, ski touring or conditions where moisture management becomes particularly important, we would normally recommend a technical synthetic or merino wool base layer instead. Choosing the right layer depends as much on how and where you ski as it does on the fabric itself.

Alongside its cotton-rich layers, selected Alp N Rock jumpers use LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, produced by Austrian textile manufacturer Lenzing. The fabric has a beautifully soft handle that works particularly well with the brand's fitted silhouettes and detailed designs.

Founded in 2007 by designer Susanne Reich, Alp N Rock was created with a distinctive approach to alpine clothing, combining vintage and European ski influences with contemporary styling.
