Founded by Dutch entrepreneur and fashion designer Nikkie Plessen, the brand is known for contemporary styling, confident tailoring and premium quality, creating ski wear that looks equally at home on the slopes and around the resort.

The Story of Nikkie Plessen

Before creating her own fashion label, Nikkie Plessen was already well known in the Netherlands as an actress and television presenter. Her experience in fashion and entertainment helped shape a brand built around confident, contemporary clothing designed for women who enjoy making an individual style statement.

Nikkie launched her first women’s fashion collection in 2012. The brand quickly developed beyond clothing into footwear, accessories and further collections, establishing NIKKIE as one of the Netherlands’ most recognisable contemporary fashion labels.

From Fashion to the Mountains

Unlike many traditional ski wear brands, NIKKIE began in the fashion world rather than on the ski slopes. The first NIKKIE ski collection was introduced in 2019, bringing the brand’s signature styling, flattering silhouettes and confident use of colour and fabric to the mountains.

This fashion-led background gives NIKKIE ski wear its distinctive character. Technical fabrics and practical ski features are combined with contemporary design, creating clothing for women who want their ski wardrobe to reflect their personal style both on and away from the slopes.
