The NIKKIE Newport Satin Womens Ski Jacket is a luxurious padded ski jacket combining substantial warmth with a silky satin finish and distinctive gold detailing. In Travertine, the jacket has a beautiful soft pale-gold colour, complemented by the gold-tone zips for a sophisticated look both on and off the slopes.

Designed as a genuine ski jacket rather than simply a winter puffer, the Newport includes a high collar with fixed hood, snow gaiters at the sleeves and hem, zipped hand pockets, an internal pocket and a dedicated ski-pass pocket. Sorona® synthetic padding provides generous insulation for colder mountain days, while the relaxed silhouette allows comfortable freedom of movement and room for ski layers underneath.

The Newport has a loose, relaxed fit with a contemporary puffer silhouette. We recommend trying your normal size for the intended relaxed look. The jacket has a centre-back length of approximately 62cm.

When to Wear:

The Newport is a warm insulated jacket designed for resort skiing, colder mountain days and après-ski. Its generous Sorona® padding makes it particularly suited to skiers who prefer a warmer jacket, while the satin finish, pale-gold colouring and gold zip detailing give it a distinctly fashion-led appearance.

Warmth & Weather Protection:

The Newport is insulated with Sorona® synthetic padding, giving the jacket a substantial, warm construction without relying on natural down. Combined with the high collar, padded hood and internal snow protection, it is particularly well suited to colder winter skiing and time spent around the resort.

The outer fabric has a 10,000mm waterproof rating and 3,000g/m²/24hrs breathability, with water-resistant zip designs providing additional protection at the main openings. The seams are not taped or sealed, so the finished garment should be considered water resistant rather than fully waterproof. The Newport is well suited to normal skiing conditions and snowfall in cold weather, but is not recommended for wet snow, rain or prolonged wet conditions.
