Founded in 1804 in Schwabmünchen, Bavaria, Schöffel is one of the world's longest-established outdoor clothing companies. Still family-run more than 200 years later, the business has evolved from its origins in textiles to become a specialist in technical outdoor and ski clothing.

From Bavaria to the Mountains

Schöffel's move into sportswear began in 1967, followed by a growing focus on functional clothing for skiing and the outdoors. The brand was an early adopter of GORE-TEX® technology and made a major commitment to the waterproof and windproof membrane at a time when technical outdoor clothing was developing rapidly.

That combination of experience and technical development continues to define Schöffel ski wear today, with clothing designed around protection, comfort and freedom of movement in demanding mountain conditions.

Our Schöffel ski wear collection includes men's and women's ski jackets and ski pants, together with technical first and second layers for building a complete ski layering system. Selected men's ski pants are also available in different leg lengths, making Schöffel particularly useful for skiers who find a standard trouser length difficult to fit.
